This is the current draft Terms of Use for Iraq Builds. It is intended to apply when Public Beta / public launch is authorized, and may still change before then.
Platform role
Iraq Builds is a discovery and listing service. It organizes and presents information about third-party digital products and connects visitors to the builder's official destinations. Iraq Builds does not build, operate, or take ownership of the listed products themselves.
Listing eligibility
Builder registration is currently controlled and requires a Registration Access Code provided by Iraq Builds. A submitted product is only published after human review — publication is never automatic on submission.
Builder responsibilities & representations
Builders are responsible for the accuracy of their product, company, and profile information, and for the content and behavior of the destinations they link to. By submitting a listing, a Builder represents that they are authorized to represent the product, company, or brand named in it, and that the name, ownership, and description provided are accurate.
Intellectual property
Builders retain ownership of the products, trademarks, and content they submit. Iraq Builds does not claim ownership of any listed product — it displays the information a Builder provides for discovery purposes only. Builders may not submit content that infringes another party's intellectual property or trademark rights.
Prohibited content
Listings may not contain impersonation, fraudulent claims, illegal content, or content that misrepresents ownership, identity, or the nature of the product or service offered.
Human review
Published listings are human-reviewed before going live and when core identity or content changes. Review is not a legal ownership or cybersecurity guarantee.
Moderation
Iraq Builds may investigate reports about a listing, request changes from the Builder, or take other moderation action described in these Terms. Moderation decisions are recorded internally and are auditable.
Removal & suspension
Iraq Builds may remove, suspend, or request changes to a listing that violates these terms or applicable law.
Reports & disputes
Reports of impersonation, incorrect ownership attribution, broken or malicious links, copyright/intellectual-property complaints, or misleading or prohibited listings can be submitted through the Contact/Report route. Ordinary reports do not require an account; reports involving impersonation, ownership, copyright, or privacy require a reply email address so Iraq Builds can follow up.
Third-party destinations; no guarantee
Products, links, and services listed on Iraq Builds are operated by third parties, not by Iraq Builds. Iraq Builds makes no guarantee that any listed product, service, or destination is safe, available, accurate, or continuously operational, and makes no guarantee of product quality, investment outcome, or security for any listed product.
Opportunity signals
Opportunity signals (such as seeking collaborators, open to investment, or hiring) express a Builder's stated intent only. Iraq Builds does not guarantee that a signal results in a hire, an investment, a collaboration, an accepted contribution, an acquisition, or any other completed transaction.
Analytics
Analytics shown to Builders are first-party platform events that Iraq Builds measures directly, such as page views and outbound clicks by destination type. An outbound click is not a confirmed download, install, purchase, completed signup, or successful contact.
Featured & Sponsored placement
Featured placement is an editorial decision made by Iraq Builds and is not for sale. If paid placement is introduced in the future, it will always be clearly labeled "Sponsored" and kept distinct from organic and editorial discovery.
Account & security responsibilities
Builders are responsible for keeping their account credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under their account. Notify Iraq Builds promptly through the Contact/Report route if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Service changes & availability
Iraq Builds may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time, and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Privacy
Iraq Builds' data practices are described separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Governing law
Iraq Builds has not yet finalized a governing-law or jurisdiction clause for these Terms. This section is pending separate owner and legal review before public launch.
